Liverpool 1-1 City, full time. Not an especially well-played match, real sloppy. Liverpool really screwed the pooch on the City goal, horrible defending on a corner kick, awful. Liverpool had two breakaways within five minutes in the second half, got nothing. A lot of respect between Klopp and Pep, nice. Most important stat: ARSENAL ON TOP OF THE TABLE!
Liverpool had control of that match after about 35 minutes were played. I thought they deserved to come out with a win.

Man City-Arsenal on March 31. It will be intense. A Gunners W would put them 5 points up on City, would be nice. It’s the next match for both teams, I believe, Arsenal has a Champions League match, hosting Porto Wedneaday, aggregate Arsenal 0-1 Porto. international break coming up after that.

Other than MC hitting the post, yeah, Liverpool was definitely superior in the second half, what I saw.

Liverpool had trouble finishing, three solid opportunities in the second half and got nothing. Soccer, it drives you crazy. Nice to see the Gunners get their best result, a cheap high for me.

Man City needed the win more than Arsenal. It’ll be a great finish.
It's amazing how often these big games end in draws. Won me a 2 to 1 bet!

Sure is shaping up to be an epic finish. One slip up could be the difference for any given team.

Nine matches remaining. Arsenal is at Tottenham and at Man U, for their toughest matches.

City had zero goals against Arsenal this year.

Chelsea 2-3 United at 86’. Chelsea was up 2-0 and started playing horrible, my God, stringing multiple bonehead decisions into a quilt of “bad.” The first United goal, good grief, crap soccer. Wait for Tom to post the Twitter replay, you will just shake your head. Wow.

Tom, we all owe you constant attaboys for your stellar work in this regard. Appreciated.

Chelsea 3-3 at 90’+10’. Penalty. I saw the right call being made, imo.

Final: Liverpool 3, Sheffield United 1

It was actually 1-1 in the 2nd half. Beautiful goals by Mac Allister and Gakpo broke the deadlock and gave the Reds a cushion, respectively.

Liverpool back atop the table. 😀

Liverpool’s first goal shot to the top of the “How Not To Goalkeep” hit parade.
