ugh, Iran nearly scores an equalizer at the 64 minute mark. USA can't give up those type of opportunities.
With the sub of Zimmerman for Weah, the USA is going to really pack things in for the rest of the game. I believe they switched alignments to 5 on the back line.

we don't see practices, and not a lot of info has leaked out of the USA camp.
He was injured before the WC. Perhaps his conditioning isn't back, or perhaps he's still being impacted by the injury.
The USA only scored 2 goals in 3 group stage matches. While their offense looked a lot better today (especially in the 1st half), offense is still a concern for the USA team. And now we have to wonder about the status of Pulisic and Sargent heading into Saturday's match against the Netherlands.
Not Tom but this is a hot topic. There are “rumors” that the when Berhalter didn’t put him in the first game, he was told to lie and say he was injured. And when he didn’t, he got on Berhalters fragile bad side. I believe that came from Eric Wynalda.
the other speculation is he is actually hurt, but his playing time at Dortmund recently, suggest otherwise (he is playing for dortmund)
