Mt. Carmel vs. St. Rita week 1 @ MC this year.
I don’t know if I would call it a Non Conference...same Conference, different division, but will be an exciting game none the less. Rita has a strong D returning. Can’t wait!
Any JC guys know if JC is playing Simeon in the city this year? And is Ritter returning the favor to JC and traveling up here week 2?

Wasn’t sure to be honest. Obviously it’s not a ccl blue or a cross over game. I know they announced a 2 year arrangement last year. Before that Its definitely not one they have to play.

Damn, no more Oswego. Oswego is playing Andrew week 2 and apparently Joliet Central has cancelled week 3 already. Neuqua again week 1

Well that is garbage WWS was supposed to host OPRF now they only have 3 home games next year and are on the road the first 3 weeks.
If only they still had that annual game to kick off the year. WWS was home for even years.
The Tigers had the odd years at home from 88-‘06 until the other school decided it wasn’t worth playing the game anymore.
Sorry that is correct. Forgot the big upset I was at was class of 98 played in the fall of 97. I thought WWS went to a closed conference for awhile which made it impossible for the series. Makes too much sense for these two to play every year. Looks like they did open for a few years in 12-14

IHSFCA open date list is pretty sparse. However, it does list Ignatius looking for a week 1 game. That would be a decent game to schedule. There is nobody listed as looking for week 2 games.
USD, do you know if Crete Monee is on for this year? Or is that another open date needing to be filled?
So it appears that out-of-state is possibly in the cards.
The past has seen Hilltopper games in or against teams from Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri.
A pain in the neck for the AD and HC, but a good experience for the boys.

For the first three weeks. Our stadium is being renovated over the summer.
Batavia Public School District 101 awarded a contract to Lite Construction, Inc., to improve bleachers and replace lighting at Bulldog Stadium, Work on the stadium is set to begin May 23, with expected completion on Sep. 9.
Good luck with that lead times are terrible right now, things are months out and keep getting pushed by the week.
Was thinking the same thing. I hope they have a backup plan for a “home” field.
unrelated to work on stadium…. My kids backed their car into a pole. Needs a taillight and a little body work. Guy quoted the repairs, and then said he has no idea when the work could be done because some if the parts have been backordered for months
Similar story. I needed some car body work on a door and the 1st intake date was 6 weeks out. Not ideal, but that should have allowed some flexibility in getting the parts into the shop for the fix. Hell, no. Sixteen days from the intake before I got it back.

As far as I know, same conference and cross overs as last season. Just flip home/away.
