Roberto Firmino tied the game late in the second half, in his last game for the Reds at Anfield.

Intense match. Very good effort by Villa. 10 minutes of stoppage time were added to the second half. Crazy.

Newcastle 0-0 Leicester City at 26’. A LC win would put them out of the relegation zone (Everton). Newcastle is controlling play so far and LC quite frankly looks like a relegation zone team.

Still 0-0, now at 84’. Newcastle clinches top-4 with a draw or win today. Newcastle is winning the possession battle 83%-17% last I saw, 11-3 in corners. Newcastle has hit the post three times.

0-0, full time. LC had a great chance at the end, the best chance of the evening.

That match ended in a 1-1 draw. A lot has been settled already and there might not be much excitement left at the top on Sunday.

ManU can claim the final Champions League slot with a win or draw tomorrow vs Chelsea.

If that happens, all four Champions Leagues slots and both Europa League slots will be settled. Only the Europa Conference League slot will be left - the seventh place club claims that. Brentford, Tottenham and Aston Villa still each have a shot.

After that, Everton, Leicester City and Leeds are battling to avoid relegation. Two of the three will be relegated.

That’s about all that’s on the line other than final positions in the standings.

Man United beat Chelsea 4-1. Chelsea sucks by the way. So now, other than final positions in table, only Europa Conference League (7th place) and two relegation spots are undecided. Gonna be a boring Sunday for most of us.

Interestingly enough, only the Leeds-Spurs match is in regular cable on Sunday. The rest are on Peacock.

Better year for MU than I expected. Hopefully they get the club sold, sign a striker and a few more key pieces to make a run for next year. Casemiro was so big for MU this year.

Needed that W to keep me distracted from real life even if only for a few hours. I have a sister battling stage 4 cancer and it’s a huge battle right now.

I mentioned earlier that only a single match was going to be on basic cable, meaning not Peacock. This is incorrect. Each of the three contenders for relegation will be on basic cable, yay.

Assuming no crazy goal differential flips, here’s the lowdown:

Everton win: LC and Leeds are relegated.
Everton draw, LC win: Everton and Leeds are relegated.
Everton draw, LC loss or draw, LC and Leeds relegated.
Everton loss, LC loss or draw, Leeds loss or draw: LC and Leeds are relegated.
