Huge get. Locking up SD kid also. Lb will still be something we need every class. Good way to start it off
This is good, because it looks like TJ Bollers might be committing to Wisconsin soon (Wiltfong CB for the Badgers today).
This is a guy that would have probably had gone to Wisconsin in the past. Glad that we’re reeling these type of guys in!
I was just about to say he’s a Top 100 talent on 24/7 a 73rd ranked 4 star OLB and a 4 star composite of .9328...and a 4 star Top 152 player on ESPN (he cracks the ESPNs Top 300)...dam good pick up. Beat out Oregon, Iowa, Wisconsin, ISU and Minnesota for the young man and he’s another Top LB...get TJ Bollers and bam...GBR

I like the emphasis on speed over weight and strength at this point in a kids recruitment. We can more easily give them power, strength, and some more weight than increase speed.
I feel the excitement building within the HUSKER fanbase with this latest committment. Winking

2. The addition of Kpai means the Huskers continue to have a stranglehold on the top talent in the state of South Dakota. It also means that they have officially keep the Sioux Falls Washington High School pipeline open for awhile longer. That connection has produced some pretty good Huskers over the recent years such as Nate Gerry. Matt and Will Farniok.
Nebraska and Kpai could be next. Given the low overall numbers of talent in Nebraska compared to other states, NU must treat prospects from states like South Dakota as in-state players.
3. The Huskers are on an early roll with its 2021 class now. Kpai gives NU four known verbal commits so far which is far ahead of where we've seen Nebraska's recruiting classes be at this stage in the process under Frost.
Also, three of the four current commits hail from within the 500-mile radius which is a very big deal. There's enough talent inside the radius this year where it would not come as a completely shock to see more than half the class come from within the region by the time things are all said and done.
