Of course we don't know for sure what is going to happen when the dust settles, but let's say the NCAA grants everyone an extra year of eligibility. I was trying to play this out in my head. I assume there will be an MLB draft. And for the most part draft eligible players that would have gone pro will still go pro. There may be a few that don't because they needed to compete to show their draft value. So I wonder if the biggest 2021 impact would be teams that get another year out of seniors that are solid college players, but not necessarily 2020 draft prospects.

Our seniors:
Carlisle Koestler
David Dunlavey
Spencer Price
Riley Self
Jack Eagan

No idea if any of these are expected to get drafted. No idea which of these would even take an extra year of eligibility if given. Some might want to start their non baseball careers. But we could add valuable depth to our pitching staff depending on what the NCAA decides. Of course other schools will get the same benefit, but the impact will not be equal.

Sorry if already discussed.

I think Price and Koestler for sure, assuming they haven’t graduated from grad school. Self would I think as he was looking better than he had the last two seasons. What is the ncaa going to do as far as roster size? That is going to play a big part in which upper classmen stay.

I hate it for Spencer

He was lights out in his chances this year. These last two years probably haven't been easy. And now this.
