Any there last night? Need those kids to SEE the vision and then see the facility to really get these high level recruits to believe.

Hope there were some there. Being at that type of event as a 16/17 year old seriously matters and makes a big impression.

Schedules have to line up.....some kids have game days the same day RU does, some don't.....distance to and from Piscataway to wherever these kids live, also factors in.

Friday the 19th is a start of a long weekend....we host Northwestern......Monday night, we host Nebraska.....but that weekend is usually a bonanza of regional and national HS tournament games all over the place, so the question isn't whose at the RU game, it's what assistant coaches can flare out on Saturday afternoons or Saturday night to see these tourney's with the HS prospects playing.

I’m just asking if anyone was there not if it was possible the game conflicted with a recruit’s sisters birthday dinner or high school game.

I think I saw some kids with Hudson Catholic jackets outside the bathroom but not sure if they were any main recruiting targets. They also looked pretty young.

Mulcahy for 2019 was there, but there are always kids at games, I saw a couple of coaches at Saturday's Maryland game from St Benedicts....There are always games that are more likely to have kids vs others. I don't think there's a running total of who is where, unless you are a twitter or instagram follower of some of these players/prospects. That's usually how info gets filtered out.

The Brick City Lions got recognized at halftime for their achievement so there were probably some 2024 recruits for football in attendance but Ash was nowhere to be seen from my vantage point.

Nunzio was shaking their hands as they walked off from being recognized though.

Hudson Catholic folks would have definitely been there to show support for Luther Muhammad (Ohio State/from Newark etc)
I love sending those sorts home with an L.
Years ago we were playing Louisville and a bus pulled in with a load of Taquan Dean fans from Neptune. I think it was 2006.
They should have beaten us but didn't.
Thanked them for visiting the RAC on the way out.

I remember being in HS and bringing a very inappropriate ESPN acronym sign to the game. We sat RIGHT by either dean or Padgett’s family, forgetting which, and they did not appreciate it. The sign was not kind to either of them and used a lot of teenager humor. Didn’t have smart phones back than so don’t have a picture but I remember a few people stopped my friends and I to take some pictures.

If you’re out there and still have them I’d love to see them!

Years ago, 2010-2011 season, Kylie Irving sat next to me in my 100’s level seat. He was friends with Rutgers player (Wilmington NC native) James Beatty and his family. Irving was home on a holiday break from Duke. Irving signed autographs for everyone who asked. For Rutgers hoops minutiaeologists, that team included a player from Hawaii. Amazed if someone recalls the name without Google-ing.

He was also best friends with Eli Carter
