Are they changing at all? Personally I hated last year's. We looked too similar to Wisconsin and all the other red teams in the B1G.
Ash killed every tradition we had and the white helmets is another. At least it will be easy in the future, if there are any pictures of us in white helmets we’ll know exactly what era it was from and they can throw them out. Something so simple to please the few fans that are left and corn-for-brains is so clueless he couldn’t care less
Sometimes youth should listen to their elders. They usually know better. O and players the choice of white helmets:You realize that the team, the players and not Ash picked the white helmets, right? Ash actually wanted the red helmets but the team picked white

Too bad Nike treated Rutgers like it was a JUCO program.I want Nike back sooooo bad. Rutgers belongs with Nike.

I thought it was all Fllod’s fault.:.or is it all Shea’s fault? Julie? Etc etc etcBut it’s always Ash’s fault. Don’t u know that?
Hey, at least we could look good, while getting the sh*t kick out of us.Uniforms are the least of our worries.
Nike treated RU horribly. Their offer was a joke. No RU fan should be singing the praises of Nike.
Our uniforms last year were the only thing we’ve gotten right under Ash. They are sharp. Hope we keep them.
A pretty good initial design IMO.Our uniforms last year were the only thing we’ve gotten right under Ash. They are sharp. Hope we keep them.
Ash gave them the choice... so, yeah, its his fault. But it’s always Ash’s fault. Don’t u know that?
Adidas.. talked a really good game that they were assigning a team to work with us and give us preferred status. Yet, with over six months after the signing of the contract they couldn’t get us a unique uniform for the 2017 season. Then they showed us a whole lotta love for 2018...it must’ve taken an unpaid intern a whole sixteen minutes to come up with that uniform..
The NJ silhouette should be visible for every game just not where it is now.The state of NJ outline helmet is a masterpiece
But only wear it once a season, night game
Nike treated us horribly. But Adidas is doing the same thing.
I don’t understand why some people have fantasies about Adidas. They talked a really good game that they were assigning a team to work with us and give us preferred status. Yet, with over six months after the signing of the contract they couldn’t get us a unique uniform for the 2017 season. Then they showed us a whole lotta love for 2018...it must’ve taken an unpaid intern a whole sixteen minutes to come up with that uniform. And what’s the reason? The FBI showed us. Their management was too busy shoveling money and Pitino, ‘ville and the like to effectively stack the cards against us. How do you field a BB team that can fairly play deep into March when there is that level of cheating going on? Condoned and financially supported by Adidas (and likely Nike)? Go ahead, buy and proudly wear your three stripes, but don't think they’re doing us any favors.
The ones on the practice jerseys do that. The shoulder stripes suck. We look like Wisconsin and Nebraska now.

At home? This isn’t the first coach/era to wear white helmets at Rutgers.
At home?
Okay, sounds good to me!So Ash killed uniforms, lets also blame him for the bad food in the stadium, long bathroom lines, and people who can't make change at the concession stands.
I suppose it's how you look at it. This is where you get to manipulate stats. The current deal is worth between 1.7 and 1.8MM vs Nike's 1.1MM. Adidas is paying us ~60% more over Nike per annum. And we can say ooooo and ahhhhhh. If you're saying Adidas is giving us a lot more, well...60% is quite a bump. That’s not true. And Adidas offered us way more than Nike. So they are showing a lot more love for that reason alone.
Your first bit said it all. Nike’s offer was to keep the deal the exact same. We also got far less product and attention.I suppose it's how you look at it. This is where you get to manipulate stats. But clearly the apparel-makers have been in bidding wars and ramping up who they want in their stable. And I've not found more than one P5 that makes less on their apparel contract (Iowa State which is banking just over 1.5MM a year).
OK, so yes, Hobbs was forced to negotiate from a position of weakness. Though you could say under his guidance, the unmarketable product has only become more unmarketable. Forget the P5 and their sky-high contracts. We're just wannabe pretenders. So what're some of the G5 programs making? Temple has a deal with UA worth roughly 3MM a year. USF has a deal with UA worth 2.8MM. University of Memphis? Went with Nike at 2.25MM. East Carolina also with Nike for 1.6MM per year. You like stripes? Tulsa inked a deal with Adidas worth 1.6MM.
As for what I said about Louisville? Adidas pays them over 16MM a year. But that wasn't enough, so they paid Pitino another 1MM a year under the table. And hundreds of thousands to steer players to the 'ville. For years. And yes, all of that while we were playing them, so Adidas stacked the Cards (pun intended) against us.
