Does Aurora repeat in C1 this year? Hard to imagine the Huskies not making a deep run in November.

Besides Aurora, Wahoo, Pierce, And Ogallala who are some favorites and surprises in C1?

Pierce returns almost everyone I think. I imagine they and Aurora will again be heavy favorites in C1.

I will go with Aurora and Pierce as well. I know that Ogallala has a really good QB. Ogallala did lose a couple of really good players to graduation. Cameron Rafaeli, and Lucas Poloucek. I thought Ogallala would be better last year than they were. They ended up 4-5 last year and lost their last 4 games.

I am not sure I would have Ogallala as one of the favorites I wouldnt even put them in the top 10 but I Agree with the other three.

Pierce lost a lot, both TE's who were starters, starting center, starting guard, starting WR, starting tackle on just offense plus all those guys played defense. They had great depth last year so these losses will hurt only their depth. I heard they lost both of their defensive coaches to retirement.

I believe one of their AC went to be the HC at Riverside.

I have a hunch Pierce will be OK. If I were a betting man, I'd put $$ they'll be in the final 4.

In no particular order...
Top 10 teams
Pierce, Adams Central, Wahoo, Ashland-Greenwood, Aurora, Kearney Catholic, Bishop Neumann, Lincoln Lutheran, Lakeview, Ord
Potential top 10 teams
Arlington, Auburn, Gothenburg, Ogallala, West Point-Beemer, Central City

I’ll take Pierce-Wahoo in finals.

I thought I had heard last year that most of their team was back for 2019....maybe it was just their offensive backfield.

so pierce lost their tight ends, all they do is block anyway, and the DC retired, so what the HC is still there correct and he runs the show. I put my money on Brahmer any day of the week. they will be tough to beat in my opinion. they were young two years ago and now they are seniors Bluejays will be alright .
