I saw that Duke is heavily recruiting some guys and presumably leading for them, but I was wondering:
1- Are any ready or going to commit early? If so, which?
2- How many bigs in this class? (It probably depends on Bolden)

Duke is leading for 2 solid Bigs for this class; Armando Bacot and Isaiah Stewart. Also, Duke is leading for the number 1 point guard for this class, Cole Anthony. Duke will bring in at least a 5 man class. I'm predicting Cole Anthony, Bryan Antoine, Joey Baker, Isaiah Stewart, and Armando Bacot. IMO, this will be Coach K's last recruiting class before retiring.

Cole anthony, Bryan antione and bacot should be class of 2018 given there age. Interested to see if the nba let's the 2019 class go straight to the draft.

I am excited about the end of the NBA age/matriculation rule; granted, I’ve read nothing of this change being imminent.

Bagleys belong in the pros. Injury risks alone make it hard for me to watch sometimes. I’m enjoying seeing him or Kyrie in a Duke uni, but it seems contrived. We’d still be getting guys like Winslow and Ingram. There will still be one and dones. It gives the players the freedom they deserve.

Doubt it with the impending rule change

Players can still commit early. The problem is, you could see schools invest a lot of time into a player --- see Shaun Livingston in 2004 for us or JR Smith in 2005 for UNC --- who never winds up matriculating. For 95%+ of schools recruiting won't change much, for schools like Duke, UK, Arizona, Kansas, UNC, etc. it could be another story.

This is why I'm against the rule, players can basically screw the school over. If they commit they should be forced to attend college or enter the next yr NBA draft.
