What are your preliminary thoughts on the DL? I’m concerned that it’s our weakest group. Thankfully our LB group is one of our best, and the CB’s look decent, but still concerned about stopping the run and getting pressure on the QB. Good offenses could eat us up...
Please help change my outlook about the DL!

Need depth

Sure the loss of Joseph and Turay are huge.
However Wilkins & Bateky are stud DLs. Turner { although way undersized} and Previlon are strong on the 2 deep. At DE Lumor , Griggs, Dugan, Bordner, Onyechi will need to step up.

The lack of pass rushers has been a ongoing problem.Under sized defensive tackles doesn't work in the B1G.

Group has potential. Wilkins, Bateky, Previllon, Lumor and Onyechi have all flashed at various points. Hoping that at least one of Duggan, Tverdov and Bordner show out.

A lot of inexperienced/unproven young talent that hopefully will step up. Remains to be seen how well they will perform. OL also has some question marks.

Only DLman who isn't undersized is Kevin Wilkins. He's going to have to have a really big year for us. Otherwise we're going to get pushed around by the OLines of the B1G like we have been the past few years.

Bakety 6'3 300
Previlon 6'5 290
Duggan 6'1 292
Bordner was 6'4 280 last season, so he'll be even bigger this season
Turner 6 foot 282

Tverdov and Lumor will be over 250 at DE, not including Wilkins who takes one DE spot.

Plenty of size for the Big 10. This isn't the NFL with 280 lb DE's
