Except it is not an opinion piece.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/27/business/economy/trump-gdp-fact-check.html

Show me where in the headline area it says "opinion" like ALL of the NY Times opinion pieces do.

[laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing][laughing]

Trump's ******** got called out and you can't stand it.

[roll][roll][roll]

Well, it's going against Trump's claims.......so it has to be either an "opinion" or "fake news".....right?

Probably in the byline where the authors state that they evaluate Trumps statements. You know...offering their opinion to counter his.

Probably in the byline where the authors state that they evaluate Trumps statements. You know...offering their opinion to counter his.

Which part of this is opinion?

"In the 19 months from December 2016 to June 2018, the economy added just under 3.7 million jobs. In the 19 months before Mr. Trump’s election, the economy added 4.3 million jobs." Obama added more jobs in his last 19 months than Trump did in his first 19 months.

Appears factual to me.

Which part of this is opinion?

"The number of Americans in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program increased by more than 10 million during the recession. But enrollment has declined every year since a peak of 47.6 million in 2013. And the latest available data does not show a steeper decline under Mr. Trump. From February 2017, Mr. Trump’s first full month in office, to this April, SNAP participation decreased by about 2.5 million people. In the 14 months before that period, participation declined by 2.8 million."

Appears factual to me.

What part of this is opinion?

Bill Clinton had 12 quarters of GDP growth higher than 4.1%.

Appears factual to me.

Isn’t it logical to assume that as you approach closer to full employment (lower % of unemployment) that job growth would slow due to less and less people actually looking for jobs?

Why teach him anything? He doesnt want to dig deeper into what kind of jobs were added either.

The fact there are no Leftists on here defending this lunacy tells you all you need to know about what a lousy plan it is. Not even they can enthusiastically get behind it, even if they agree with the overall concept because they know we can't afford it!

excerpt
“the accumulation of recent congressional testimony has made it clear that the Obama administration itself engaged in the wholesale destruction and ‘loss’ of tens of thousands of government records covered under the act as well as the intentional evasion of the government records recording system by engaging in private email exchanges.”

Doesn't this just fit their whole "mo"? My God what a bunch of lawless desperadoes. Just destroy the records, so if anyone comes back around later 'investigating'...there's nothing left to see! Poof!!!!!

Hillary's innocent for having an illegal server because her illegal activity on it just suddenly 'disappeared' when investigators came looking for the evidence! Her "intent" was to make sure they never found any trace of it.

So she was exonerated. See how easy that was?

The media will NEVER report this, or worse EVER give Trump credit for it. First to howl he was about to blow us all up...oh yes! Last to give him any credit for negotiating the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

Ignore them.
