Games we know (or might know) will be played:

UNC - CBS sports classic
Michigan State - champions classic
Louisville (Yum! Center)
???UCLA @ Rupp (was that a home and home game?)
SEC/Big 12 challenge game in Rupp (Texas Tech maybe?) Would love to play West Virginia, Oklahoma, or have Kansas come to Rupp for some revenge.

Anyone know anymore games that might be on the schedule?

Thought I read somewhere they was trying to get the SEC/BIG12 challenge game to be a rematch with Kansas at Rupp this time

UK should be favored in every one of those games. As long as we don't have a recruit totally bomb (sorry Skal..), we should go through OOC with only a loss or two. But a very good chance we don't lose any.

UNC, UofL, Kansas all have big question marks for next year. All have recruiting issues, can't see Kentucky dropping to any of them. MSU looks to be the 3rd best team, but good luck replacing a player like Valentine.. Forbes and Costello are gone. And their class, while 3rd, is still a far-cry from ours.

Just gotta get through the SEC and I don't sere how Kentucky isn't at least a #2 seed next year..

Michigan State will be close. If they add Josh Jackson they might actually be favored against us.

True. I'm hearing lots of different rumblings for Jackson though. And for as much as we'll lose in the draft. I still like what we return better than MSU..

Willis, Lee, Matthews, Hump and maybe Briscoe > Davis and Harris..

Good point. Plus there's just as likely a chance we get Bolden as MSU gets Jackson. UK should still keep a good arms length away from MSU and Duke's class.

I'm happy about it....but that schedule is daunting. Michigan State, Kansas, Louisville are all top 10 next year. Two could be Top 5 and UCLA, North Carolina could end up being top 10 caliber if some pieces fall in the right place.

There are 2 games that I thought UK will be involved--one unannounced opponent in the Phil Knight Nike Event and forget who they are playing in NY to re-open an arena next November.

The game in New York is Hofstra so no big deal there. They renovated the old Nassau Coliseum (Islanders old arena) and we are opening it for them. The Phil Knight event is November of 2017 so season after next.

Another arena we'll be undefeated in! Hahahaha..

Kind of excited to see what the new Nassau Coliseum looks like. It's Long Island, so you know it will be ridiculous.

Road trip from NY to Vegas across the northern US during the Winter? Blehhh.. better off flying.

That game @Hofstra isn't too bad for us, though!

That's probably going to be a tough schedule. Michigan State, Kansas, UNC, UCLA, and Louisville should all be legit top 10 caliber teams. I listed UNC assuming Jackson, Hicks, and Meeks all return. Berry, Britt, Woods can handle the 1 and 2 fine. We'll break it off in Arizona State and LOL......Especially South Florida.

Just don't think UNC, a team that would have been a 3 seed most years, isn't bringing enough in to make up for what's lost. Paige and Brice are better than anything that's coming in..

I thought this was a home, and home deal....?
yea, I feel like that was the agreement and they just 'placed' it within the sec/big12 challenge.

with that roster, hope the incoming guys get to campus as early as possible and get a could summer of strength/conditioning in. Will also help the returning players get time against elite athletes.
