Yup. I'm glad Booker went before him though. I wonder where that poster is who said Payne would 100% go ahead of Booker and Lyles. LOL. I mean it was close, but this poster was SO adamant!

Why in the hell would someone take Rozier there? Dumb.

Anyways, titles are hard to win especially in a one and done format when your side of the bracket is stacked and when you're not Duke, who gets cake walks. I love Cal and just enjoy the ride. I'll take having fun as a fan over the garbage from 2000-2009 (minus a few of those years, we sucked).

Pretty high to bring in some one like Rozier when there were just better payers available. Who knows? Maybe this is pick is apart of Rick Pitino's buyout still. He gets a pick every year. Been a strange draft so far. Several guys going much higher than I expected .

Sam Dekker spoke as if he couldn't wait to get out of Wisconsin

I'm sure he's talking about Sullinger. Even though it worked out, there were just better players available when they picked Sullinger just like Rozier
I disagree with that. Sullinger would have been a lottery pick if it wasn't for his injury coming into the draft.

No, not really.

It's not like they took him top 10. They took Sullinger 21, which is not exactly some huge reach. Yeah, there are always better players available (in 2012, that would have been Draymond Green), because drafting isn't a science, but the 5 guys who went directly after Sullinger were Fab Melo, John Jenkins, Jared Cunningham, Tony Wroten, and Miles Plumlee.

The problem for the Celtics right now is that they have (and have had) a ton of picks, but none of them have been (or will be) in the range where you can realistically expect to get a great player. They've actually done pretty well, given the position they've drafted guys. They need to either get lucky, and hit a homerun in a spot where you wouldn' expect it, or package some stuff to bring in some stars.

I'm late to the party, but I wanted to add this:

I loved watching Wiggins in high school and college. Probably the saddest I've been over an individual kid that we didn't get. It's going to be awesome watching Towns and Wiggins. I think that's going to be an NBA title competitor in 3-5 years.

They have some options in the backcourt and wings. They have bigtime scorers all over that Roster. Knight and bledsoe running the point with goodwin and Booker as you 2 and 3. This could be a fun team to watch .

Didn't Montrlzrzlzl come back to Louisville to be the #1 draft pick or something?

Every other player has had their little video package run with their wearing their college jersey. Rozier on the other hand has his made while wearing the NBA Draft Combine jersey. I have to wonder if that shows he is not happy with his former Coach. Or maybe he is just embarrassed to admit he played for LilBro.

I found that quite odd...and telling.

I swear Cal looks like a different man than when he first came to UK. He has aged A LOT. Reminds me of what happens to men who serve the office of President of the United States.

Something like that.

Any chance Dakari sneaks into the late 1st?

Possibly the Lakers. If they get Aldridge or something, cool. If not, they need somebody to fall back on, and Dakari may be the best remaining option at center.
