I've mentioned before I'm slowly making my way through older games. Watched 2003 Missouri in pieces during the week, wow, what a bad 4th quarter. Then I got to the A&M game.

EIGHT (8) turnovers forced to tie a school record, including pick sixes by MLB Barrett Ruud (Lincoln Southeast) and DT Titus Adams (Creighton Prep). Amazing defensive performance.

However, what I found humorous (and I recall it happening at the time) was the crowd cheering Jammal Lord in the 3rd quarter when he threw it away instead of taking a sack. Then he did it again on the next play, and got an ovation again.

Nice seeing a defense that played hard for all for quarters. Haven’t seen that in a while

I remember the game well, my little brother and I went to the game and I remember thinking it was going to be a good one. But no, we absolutely smashed Texas AM. Bo Pelini had that defense playing well and it doesn’t hurt how much NFL talent we had on that team too.
