Actually, it has both a strategic and a motivational advantage to attend a practice and see exactly what a team is going to do and run. Teams to prepare specifically for the competition, afterall.
Especially since Tubby was a great x&o coach and actually did come up with a unique game plan for every opponent.

'02 - '03 was an incredible team! Won 26 in a row and ran into somebody known as Dwyane Wade or we may have hung a banner....wasn't expecting that considering we lost Tayshaun from the year before
Wasn't Bogans hurt that game?

I have very fond memories of the 03 to 05 teams.

There was nothing "lost" about that three year stretch, they were damn good teams that played their asses off and were damn fun to watch. They deserve to be remembered fondly.

As for the rest of that decade (00-02 and 06-09) ..yeah, you've got a point.
