what's the difference? hand on the ground?Cause he should be a DE in a 4-3 where he would thrive, imo.

he's one guy they don't put in coverage and always plays at the line of scrimmage.
so, like, what a good OLB in a 3-4 does?Idk...outside...ability to get low and bend and setting the edge.
That’s what she said?Garrett Nelson and Damian Jackson.
Congrats to them.
May not know what hes doing all the time but he does it hard.
Doesn't Damian start on kickoff coverage? Dang. Knowing that a former special forces guy is running down the field at me would make me think twice about fielding the ball.

Given out..... In the title of the thread. I am not attempting to edit or place my words into someone else's keyboard, but I would like to add the word EARN in there somewhere. These two gentlemen have earned a Blackshirt; not by starting every snap on defense, but by laying it on the line both in between whistles and off the field reminiscent of the ideals in mind when using the term Blackshirt (in my biased opinion).
Garrett Nelson and Damian Jackson.
Congrats to them.

Pretty sure there is a message being sent here. I hope like hell an ex seal is calling out those who need it. If he reacted the way some of these guys on the team seem to when adversity hits he probably would not have come home.

He's been on the 2 deep all year. I think he has played in 4ish games so far.It is easier to whine and cry than actually look at the challenges. It must be a stress free life to be that way as it requires zero mental lifting...
Reimer tooI can’t wait to add Blaise Gunnerson on the opposite side of G Nelson and C Tannor and then have Nick Henrichs and Jackson Hannah handling the ILB spots. For the future we got a solid starting 4/5 LB (N Henrichs, J Hannah, G Nelson, C Tannor and B Gunnerson), but we need to make sure we add some quality back ups for them. Maybe Snodgrass, J. Graham, M Newsom and D Alston and a few other guys we add will add quality backs ups for those guys?
That's ok with me.Sounds like Caleb Tannor lost his as well according to the local news here.
I don't believe that either of those statements is true. He's too slow to be OLB and to small for DE in a 3-4.
And I wouldn't doubt if he works himself onto an NFL roster in four years. He's too slow to be OLB and to small for DE in a 3-4.
