Until we finally get to lace 'em up.

Been way too long. Sucks watching the rest of the country play every week. Can't wait.

Just think how much more it would suck if the rest of the country wasn’t playing as we speak..

Man today would have been a beautiful day in Lincoln for some Husker Football..

Well, better than not playing... Bring em on! We need the games and experience for our younger kids. We got to beat the best to be the best! Not saying we will beat the Buckeyes, but every time we play them our team gets better experience.

I still have a fear it won’t happen. Those B1G guidelines are tough.
Still wonder how they’ll keep teams that are losing and didn’t want to play to begin with in compliance... Much easier to follow strict rules when winning.

I would feel better about OSU if we had Manning ready to go.
Linebacker play will determine that game... and probably the season for that matter.

What will Big Ten football look like in covid-19 2020?

@SkerInCo you see a typical season in 2020, with all the lost spring practice and off season conditioning in the Big Ten?

The Big 12 and SEC are clearly showing defense at times is optional.

As PJ Fleck would say, tackling, explosive plays and turnovers are huge in the game of football.

The Sun Belt opened 3-0 against the Big 12.

It has been an unprecedented year for the Big Ten, as well.

Fans are bitching about no fans, due to B1G rules on the pandemic.

Who breaks out in 2020?

Nebraska is one of the candidates, as Scott Frost enters Year 3. PJ Fleck enjoyed a breakout last season.

Iowa, Purdue, Illinois would all like to move up.

Northwestern went from 8-1 to 1-8 and they hope to bounce back with former IU QB Peyton Ramsey.

We shall see in less than 2 weeks.

  1. Ohio State (74-10) - how goes Ryan Day in his second full season without Urban Meyer? QB Justin Fields should help ease the 2020 speed bumps.
  2. Wisconsin - lose #1 QB, #1 RB and #1 WR, but since a remarkable 2010 win on the road and the beginning of division play in 2011, this team has gone 64-20 over last 10 years. Get to know QB Graham Mertz, RB Nakia Watson and receivers TE Jake Ferguson, WRs Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor, each upperclassmen in the receiver room.
  3. Penn State - James Franklin is 20-7 the past 3 B1G seasons, and QB Sean Clifford is back in 2020. Strongest RB room in Big Ten, new OC Kirk Ciarrocca comes over from Row The Boat U in 2020. A #1 receiver does need to emerge in this offense. Opening at IU, then hosting Ohio State makes for an interesting start in 2020!
  4. Michigan - Jim Harbaugh missed two years ago losing 62-39 at OSU, in an 8-1 B1G campaign, his best, as he enters his 6th season back in Ann Arbor at his alma mater. The Wolverines are 19-8 the past 3 seasons in B1G. New starting QB Joe Milton beat out Dylan McCaffrey, the favorite by many. Does OC Josh Gattis make noise in his "Pro spread no-huddle" offense in covid-19 2020?
  5. Northwestern - went 8-1 in 2018 to win the B1G West only to fall to 1-8 in 2019. Former IU QB Peyton Ramsey is in. New OC Mike Bajakian arrives from NFL, after one season at BC. But, can the offense rebound enough, in a season that the rest of college football is witnessing defense, as optional, during covid-19 2020 season?

That's some really insightful stuff there from PJ, thanks for sharing. You went PJ Fleck not once, but twice, in the same post. That's grounds for permaban.

Love, not hate, my mother always reminded me.

Did I shed a tear for Florida, Texas or LSU .... no!

But, I love college football. It has been a long year, with the pandemic, political divisions and police brutality.
