What in the lord's name are you talking about? Your best win recently is against a Florida team at home that was without its best post player in Egbunu. Even without Hicks, UNC still has Kennedy Meeks and Tony Bradley manning the post.

UK plays in the SEC so the entire conference season for you guys is an easy stretch. [roll]

You call a 7 game winning streak @Wake, @ND, Pitt, UNC, Clemson, @UVA and Wake an easy stretch? UK's lost to every team with a pulse besides UNC and Florida.

I would take Duke's bench of Jackson, Giles and Bolden over UK's group of Dom, Mulder, Willis and Hump all day long.

The only way UK will make a run is if Monk carries them but we both know he's not going to have 6 big games in a row.
Duke sucks the fans suck the state sucks and you suck

Kansas has had some luck this year playing teams not at full strength (Kentucky and Duke), getting at least one very bad missed call in their favor (Walk, Chalk, Jayhawk) against Kansas State, and had multiple teams with leads fold like a cheap tent. Teams in the SEC that play us tough rarely ever let up at the end like the Big 12 opponents do for Kansas and I believe that and less favorable calls better prepares us for the tournament. That is why we have been to 6 tournaments with 4 Final Fours and a title in 7 years with a constantly reloaded team.

Winning 13 straight conference titles hasn't done anything to benefit them in the tournament. In the previous 12 tournaments, they have lost 2 times in the first game (13 and 14 seeds), 3 times in the second game (7, 9, and 10 seeds), 2 times in the Sweet Sixteen, and 3 times in the Elite 8. So only twice they have made it to the Final Four, with 1 being a championship. During those 12 tournaments, they have been seeded a 1 seed 6 times, a 2 seed 3 times, a 3 seed twice, and a 4 seed once. They have only beat a team of equal or better seeding 4 times with all those occurring in 2 years. The definition of underachieving.

If we're as good as a lot of blowhards on here think we are, why worry about any team we might play?
For one, I'm anything but a blowhard. Secondly, I know the NCAA tournament typically comes down to match ups and not who the "best" team is. There are certain teams pundits think are better then us that I'm confident we'd beat and there's teams who aren't great but I think we don't match up well against.

UCLA will burn us on the offensive end 9 outta 10 times, they proved it once and I don't want to face them again. Arizona, on the other hand, doesn't have enough consistent offensive firepower as far as I'm concerned.

We were easily the best team in the country in 2014-2015, I also said before the tournament that Wisconsin was the one team I didn't want to play and you know how that worked out. I'm looking for who gets put in front of us more then I'm looking at our seed.

Why would it not be good for the Cats ? He has us at 9 which is probably correct right now. Also I outscored him 351-347 in 2015 so ya he won but I outscored him that year.
We would have to beat UCLA and UNC just to make the final 4. I would call that not good for the cats but everybody is entitled to their opinion.
