Those were absolute killers. Mental mistakes in key situations like that are inexcusable

I guess I disagree. Yes, that sucked on offense, no doubt, but our special teams seemed solid. The kick return gave us a little spark. Our coverage was pretty damn good on ST as well. I think as a fan base we are all just so beaten down after years of this **** we jump right back on that, but to me this still seems different. If this is a Chinander led team, Minny probably scores 30+. Instead it took 2 horrible turnovers to get them to 13. They couldn't run the ball and their line is still massive. I generally think Rhule will continue to work to make this team better as will the assistants.

We lost due to some of the dumbest 4th quarter coaching decisions I have ever seen.

I was thinking 9 mil would maybe fix that....guess not....9 months of waiting to watch that absolutely predicatable sh!tshow....sigh
Inflation $$$ is a Mother Trucker right now, pay more for the same crappy food in a drive thru, restaurant. I was hoping a new Chef would fix that quicker.

You can pay a coach $100 million and that coach is still going to have to rely on 20 year olds not to make stupid mistakes.

But I'm glad you posted this topic. Pre snap penalties are self inflicted and totally avoidable. But they are a trade mark of Husker offensive play ever since Barney Cotton's kid literally fell on his *** for a pre snap penalty.

Yes, but very next play, Sims has to pick up his teammate after the mistake. What does Sims do? Doesn't see a wide open TE in the front of the end zone and throws a pick in the deep end zone. Pitiful.
or the dumbass could throw it away and we take 3 points. Sims was a terrible qb last night, great athlete but if he doesn't improve quick we are in serious trouble.

It was in the closed section of the horseshoe in front of the students. It was loud, and they were playing their first game with a new QB. They obviously hadn't practiced their silent snap count very much.

Why not a simple fade route so its catch or incomplete.

Shoukd cald timeout with 21 seconds left and got organized. .

We should have been up 11 in the 4th Qtr. Refs blew a TD call and then the false start penalty before half were killers. All we had to do in that 2nd half was let Ervin and Sims run the ball and it was a W☹️

If you're talking about the 3 pass plays in a row (among other things) I agree, but that deep route on 1st down was open. Sims just has to make that throw & instead he under-threw the WR by 10-15 yards.

At what point do the coaches get a pass & the players have to do what they capable of doing?

Blame the player for the missed pass.. Blame the coaches for the other 2 calls afterwards.
