GTown is very good ( and mature), and it will not be a disaster to lose to them with our kids just out of high school. However, I think we win the second half.
Here we go. Some of you already have it figured out after one half of a pre-season game. You must be miserable.
Even with an NAIA team and some of you think that’s not a bad thing. Some serious mental gymnastics taking place on this board tonight.

It was a battle. I saw what happened on SEC network. If it's a top 20 team playing like that against someone like we played it's a battle. Everyone would say ku, Duke, marq,uconn didn't looked good or sucked. I said no such things about the team.

I was never worried about losing this one...
1. Georgetown was playing like their hair was on fire. There was no way they could maintain that same level of intensity. They were due to hit a wall, and they did.
2. They were making some wild shots in that first half. Pretty much everything was falling for them.
I can definitely appreciate the way Georgetown was playing with such great intensity. In the end, it was only a good thing for UK to be forced to work hard to win comfortably.
The thing that bothers me most in that game is the number of times we fouled a 3pt shot. That's inexcusable even once- I think we did it 4 times.

In 2009 Syracuse lost to a DII school and ended up a 1 seed. A few years ago Duke won an exhibition by like six. They mean literally zero, anyone trying to take any negatives away from a game like this is foolish.
No one seemed to appreciate it but this was solid.
Cal spends 100% of his time focusing on relationships that will land NBA bound players. How they may or may not contribute to UK while here is secondary. When at UK, he does his best to win, but that isn't the primary goal. Have you had enough of this yet?

I'm disappointed. I thought he would focus and this team would have been very good. I was wrong big time. It's the same and it may be better than the last few years but it won't be a top level like I was thinking. I wish the players here wouldn't be so weak and play when they should. If we get all 3 big men maybe it will get better. But careful they may have to run or bump a chest once in a while.

Ever since 2015 Cal’s butt puckers up tighter than a ticks ***. Our teams used to play loose and they knew they were better. We had a couple teams like that since then with 2017 being the best example of playing fast and free but the last 3 years… ugh.
