I’m 31 and tired of it. Used to live in New Mexico and crave warmth since I left. I’m not married or have kids so it’s a much easier transition for me than someone with a family but, seems like other things keep popping up and I keep staying. Hopefully be gone by summerMy wife and I have been talking about Florida for a while now! The older I get the worse this cold weather gets on the muscles and the bones!
Rent me a room? I’m clean, quiet and full of sarcasm.I'm in Naples about 35 mi south of downtown fort Myers

I saw some little drops starting to freeze a bit ago, Hikes Point area, but mostly been getting sleet for the past hour or two. Better than ice. We're lucky it stayed JUST barely above freezing so long, I swear the weather said 32 degrees for 4 hours without anything freezing, if it had been a degree or two cooler we'd have been under an inch of ice.I live south of downtown Louisville in the Fern Creek area. Started to freeze on the trees a couple of hours ago.
Orlando. Close enough to have lunch sometime. Let me know if you make the leap.Looking hard at the Fort Myers area. Where you located?
I’m just praying that it’s not like last year’s storm. We were without power for 9-10 days at my house. On a side note, we lost a good one out of your class a cpl days ago. I’m sure you know but thought I’d mention it just in case. He’d been a good friend of mine for like 40 years. Here in Ashland right now it’s 34 degrees and heavy rain.
Man I lived in ABQ and I LOVED it. I'd love to go back there to visit, I have a good buddy who lives there who will let us stay at his house.I’m 31 and tired of it. How close is that to west Chester?SW Ohio, about 20 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati. I just cleared my driveway of at least 2 inches of ice pellets. Forecast is calling for 3 to 4 inches of snow between sundown and about 10 o’clock tomorrow morning.
How close is that to west Chester?
Will do.Orlando. Close enough to have lunch sometime. Let me know if you make the leap.
ABQ is alright. The north and especially the northeast part of the city is absolutely beautiful, that’s where I lived. But much of the southwest side is rough and there’s a lot of pockets of ghetto. I dealt with my fair share of non English speakers looking to do nothing but make trouble..I was happy to leave but still have friends there I’d like to visitMan I lived in ABQ and I LOVED it. The key is to not own anything of valueI'd pack up and move to Florida tomorrow but I don't want to lose everything I own in a hurricane. I loved the warm weather of San Antonio & Biloxi when I was stationed there in the Air Force. Spoiled me. To hell with living up north, not sure how some of you all do it.
My kids are grown I’m having grandkids now but this cold weather just right down SUCKS. I’m ready for a move to the sunshine state!I’m 31 and tired of it.
