It seems to me to be clear that IF :
UK wins out, we will end up as a #2 seed.
IF we lose one game, we're likely to be a #3 seed, which is where we are right now.
2 losses and a 4 seed seem to be in store. And it could be worse if we do worse, of course.
But let's also consider this ... Since we had 3 losses by CHRISTMAS (!!) We've only lost 2 games. Pretty phenomenal should we win out this year from this point, which is going to be very difficult to do, but it IS DOABLE.
I still say this team hasn't really had a complete, total game, where we were playing as well as we are capable of playing. I still like our upside potential. We haven't peaked yet. With our 3 guards as good as any team anywhere, Nick and gang, we're in great shape. And I like it that we're under the radar. Let them go ahead and talk about the Evansville loss. It's immaterial now. It was only our 3rd real game for our Cats' to have played together. The early season schedule helped us, in the end, and this team has cat scratched itself back into the top 10.
Let's take care of business tonight at LSU, and take the rest one game at a time, we'll be fine!
Go Big Blue!
