My guess is they need 3 wins to guarantee a post season berth (NIT / NCAA)

None are easy though. The keys to wins would be to be ahead of the others in the B10 pecking order for voters. Beat PSU and we should be ahead of them. Same with Wisconsin. For Mich and we would prevent them from jumping us too far.

Please take the NIT out of your vocabulary for this team. The mantra is 3-15-20 for NCAA selection Sunday.

if this team goes 1-6 the rest of the way and loses int he 1st round of the B10 tourney they are 18-14 overall and 2-8 in the final 10

even if they go 2-5 that is 19-12 entering the B10 tourney. A 1st round loss is 19-13 and 3-7 in the final 10 games.

Final 10 games doesn’t count as a metric against your resume with the NCAA committee.

And to build off of Scarlet’s point—we really do need to take NIT out of our vocabulary at this point. Sure, the schedule is tough and it’s not improbable that a team gets 1 win during this stretch, but this team not making the NCAA’s at this point would be a monumental collapse and utter disappointment. At the beginning of the season we would all have taken the NIT but now RU is 16-7 in the eyes of the committee and a half game back of second place in a 10+ bid conference. Time to adjust expectations and only look at the NCAA’s.
