9:29 left in the first half and I like a lot of what I'm seeing. Cats trail 13 to nine. Great movement good defense just need to start making shots .

We’re scrapping. Both teams playing well defensively and thus not well offensively. Purdue’s length is bothering our guards a lot. Just not a lot of open shots.

It was predictable we’d have problems scoring against them. Frustrating that Nance is a big mismatch against everyone who’s thrown at him. And still does not get that many touches.

Great defense though. Even the zone has much improved rotation and adjustment

With 3:23 left in the first half, we're down by two . Nobody is making shots on either side , but I love the fight in this wildcat team . Jones is getting schooled in terms of cheap fouls , but Young is playing great and hasn't drawn a foul yet

Great defense by our team so far. Looks like Spencer is coming back to reality. Is offense and ball-handling is starting to look questionable

Purdue had a sluggish half.. NU lucky to be down only 6.. some chaotic possessions.. Young is going to be a good player..

I haven’t been able to watch, but I’m concerned that Purdue is up 5 on 1/14 threes. They’ll start making those in the second half.

Spencer Gaines Turner all of our more senior players are not really contributing to the level we need them to

Purdue missing shots but we are also contesting with our length. Spencer’s inexperience and so so handles being exposed against quicker, more athletic defenders. Teams have tape and will now see that. He’s still tough and strong but he’s a linebacker playing PG—btw he’d be a great LB for Fitz. Buie is small but has big ten ability and plays with some moxie. We need him. May be time to give Greer a shot cause Spencer can’t get past the Purdue guards. Young is a little like Kevin Love with high b-ball IQ, great positional rebounding, nice court vision. Nance would be unguardable if he realizes how good he can be. Glad he is getting the most minutes on the team this year, CC knows he’s the guy with the talent to lead us back to tourney one day.
