Worst sequence of officiating I’ve ever witnessed. Big 10 is way beyond a joke.

Still in “Expecting the worst” mode, but I appreciate the fight NU showed there, despite getting absolutely hosed by bad calls. And Hohl - well done!

As I've said since they happened, Hohl got a really bad rap for those blocked kicks that weren't his fault IMO. The KID is a very solid college freshman kicker. He's better than Alvano IMO.

Serious... I would have one of my guys lay an official out on a play.
Nonchalantly of course.

No ambulances needed, hopefully.

I heard they review every play. So, why wasn't play stopped? What's the point of review?

Rhule needs to just go crazy post game and make it so over the top that national media starts talking about it. We need the last minute of this half on every sports talk show this week.

I'm a huge Buckeye fan, and I have always loved and supported the Huskers. I am here to submit to you, the refs are screwing you guys. Wow!! Allow me to apologize.

It’s a tall task to beat Ohio State, pretty much impossible when going against the refs as well.

Something has to change with the refs. It’s not incompetence at this point.
OSU is still in the running for a playoff bye. Any calls we get will have to be extremely blatant for a flag to drop and even then they might not be called. On the other hand, just as we saw there, the zebras will bail OSU out at every opportunity.

We might need to start throwing things on the field like Texas to get calls reversed.

Rhule and clock management continues to be a mystery
As it turned out, it probably didn't matter. Satterfield was going to throw a couple of more bubble screens and we weren't going to get 6 even if we would have had more time via timeouts.... HEAVY sigh.

This crew has been terrible in every Nebraska game they've officiated. It's not super surprising they'd continue to be terrible. Given that they keep getting assignments, they must be doing what the head of Big 10 officiating wants them to be doing. So bad but it's what I've come to expect.

Well maybe only if we keep it within one score where he could legitimately make the case that the game was stolen from us.... Lose by 3 TDs and it's tough for anyone to take you seriously.

I agree. MR needs to go full on Pelini at his pressers on this officiating. Its beyond suck. If he gets a suspension, WGAS. Make some noise about it. I'm tired of us getting hosed.

The review is in place in case Ohio State's opponent needs a long completion overturned. Gotta get the calls right, you know.

Officials mark the ball 2 yards short on a third and 1 conversion?

Screw it. Review not needed.

Let the clock run.

Horrendous non first down call,no holding calls on Ohio St,pass interference on the over ruled catch.Dont know who the call was on when we converted the 3rd. down .The OPI call should have been a non call.Dont like complaining about officiating but my God this is beyond obvious it's intentional.
