This team plays to their competition. No other way to explain this. The staff and kids don’t prepare the same way for the same teams.

This has been brought up before and why I think it is likely Frost doesn’t succeed in Lincoln. His teams play at least slightly under the level of the competition. I don’t quite understand it, but so much of it is what they believe that they can do—they play scared and expecting to lose. Any of us who have competed knows that feeling and it sucks, but good coaching call pull you out of that mental state. Hard to watch.
