This was Vedral's stat line against a Top 25 Indiana defense: 14/16, 201 yards, 193 QB Rating. The fumble hurt, but compared to all of Martinez' dumb turnovers this year, hard to blame him too much.

I'm hoping Martinez can turn it around, but I just think there should be an open battle for QB next year between him and McCaffrey.

I’m not blaming Vedral for the Indiana loss, but with that fumble and the other one that Mills somehow recovered, it wasn’t exactly a performance that is going to make a coach say “OMG, I found my QB!”

Maybe Frost will stick with Martinez out of stubbornness, but we’ll see when spring ball comes. I don’t think he brought McCaffrey here to warm the bench.
