10-7, not bad. I'm glad the wide-open miss to Macan and the fumble that wasn't didn't cost the Cats late in the second quarter. Let's see who makes better adjustments in the second half. You just know Fitz loves low-scoring, hard-hitting games like this.

Our offense has looked rather poor, but we're upsetting Wisky on the road at the half. That's pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Can't complain too much about the 1st half - maybe not taking more advantage of those UW TOs.

Happy to be up at the half. A real defensive battle. Our D is really playing well. On O, Clayton could be better. JJTBC has been ineffective, but Larkin has been terrific.

That was a terrible non call on the Gaziano sack and fumble. If they apply the same standard of control and possession to that play as they do to a pass reception, Hornibrook did not control the ball and therefore did not recover. Gaziano was the first to gain control of the fumble and should have been awarded the fumble recovery.

Terrible not to burn any clock on that possession.

Fitz is the worst end-of-first-half clock manager in football. So tired of watching us be stupid with the clock like that. All 3 of those passes were basically run-equivalents. If you're gonna take shots, take shots!

Though I guess you could find fans of about 100 other schools saying the same thing about their own coach, I was a little disappointed with that playcalling too. The wide-open bad pass to Macan Wilson though should have made up for it. If that ball is just a tad better thrown, it's 15 yards at least and we could be talking about 13-7 or 17-7.

If you want to upset a good team on the road you need to capitalize on turnovers more than we did. Im pretty confident the 2nd half won't be kind to us.

Very strange how few touches JJ has. My guess is he is dinged up since the Duke game.

And they would all be wrong... Fitz's total body of work at the end of the first half is indisputably bad beyond reproach.

I am very pumped that McCall called that little pass play for the TD. I think the whole world was looking for 4 runs up the middle. Great call. Good things happen when you shake it up...with the option plays and throwing it over the middle and the overall variety of what we did, McCall gets an A for the first half. Would have been an A+ if not for the 3 straight dink passes inside 2 minutes.

Don't think the question was fumble (a little loud, so sorry if I missed an announcement); question was the recovery.
No the officials on the field actually ruled Hornibrook was down (listen to the ref describe what the review was for) so the refs on the field never actual ruled on th recovery. If the refs hadn'T ruled he was down, they might have indeed awarded us the football.

You could be right. They did not clarify what exactly they were calling. If so, that was atrocious.
