I learned my lesson when Obama was first elected. When ammo was available, I stocked high & deep.
Now, shelves are bare, cost is high.

If you're involved it's more like a "dumb" circle. Bet none of those you reside with in your circle are tougher than you, right?
Since we're not grade school kids, none of the drummers talk about who is "toughest." These are men in touch with both masculine and feminine sides. Men in touch with spirituality. Men who understand the world in a way that makes your sneering question sad.

Taurus G2C, cheap reliable 9mm. Now if I could just find more ammo... LOL.

You feel safe down at the coop? My eyes get tired reading about all the home invasions and armed robbery around the state. Thank God you can pack heat. No one getting over on you, eh? You fragile thing.

What are you clowns carrying for in Nebraska? Talk about snowflakes. Can’t walk around your hick towns w/out carrying? Talk about fragile masculinity. I see fellers with bigger stones then u gun toting rubes at my socially distanced drum circle.
This is the only Drum Circle I'm really interested in.

Vapid? Far from it. Hilarious misstep on your part. If forced to describe them, I'd say they were erudite poet warriors. Men good with their hands. Woodworkers. Mechanics. Drummers. Gardeners. Bakers. Butchers. Learned men. Serene. Good judgement. Men not to be trifled with. Drummers. Appreciators of good music. Capable of true insight and critical thinking. I've seen your action on this board GBR4Life1. For you to cast aspersions on ANY other posters veracity or motives is the height of hypocrisy. The kettle calling the pot black. The sad pathetic wheezing squawk of a pitiful **** stirrer not to be taken seriously. The braying jackassed aggrievement of someone reared on a steady diet of shopworn lunacy from dubious media sources. A person to be pitied, not listened to. Get right with God.

I love the Kimber Micro 9. Have a Sig P365 40, Sig 1911 Emperor Scorpion, Hi_Point 9, and a CZ P-09. Love my 40. She's a thumper

I have owned a bunch of Sigs and please tell me where you purchased the P365 “thumper”... as far as I know Sig never produced a P365 variant in .40

That's a lot of words to say they need to learn to code.

Those of you that do carry...do you get "looks" when you are carrying?
Nope, I don't carry a full size gun or anything I think will print or expose that I am carrying. I realize I'm in the minority here, but I carry a 380 acp or less. More of a mouse gun or get off me gun as some call it. I don't want to think about getting into a gun battle. If I can't run or get cornered, then I'll shoot if I have to. I'm not a fan of open carry, but respect people's rights too. I'd rather not have the attention.

I dont think people should open carry. Unless you are an Leo or armed security it just isn't a good idea.

I carry because its my constitutional right. My rights do not end where your feelings begin. I carry for the same reason I have a fire extinguisher in my house. It is better to have one and not need it than to need it and not have it.

This is the dorkiest post I have ever read, ever.

Also, stop talking about a gun like my mom used to talk about if I should or should not bring a coat.

From what I can remember I have only seen one dude carrying where I could see it, in Walmart...just seemed odd to me that you would carry in Walmart...BUT...they did have a pretty bitching sale on booze that day so....

Seemed odd that someone would carry in a Wal-mart? Thanks for the laugh.

They had a killing in a Walmart Parking Lot at 99th & Irvington Road about 2 1/2 years ago. Practically in my backyard, I quit going there and go over to the one on 168th & West Maple. Hopefully less likely to get shot over there, the Booze isn't as cheap.

There was also a stabbing at that one a couple years ago.

I actually mostly carry for the wildlife. I’ve been run up on by rabid animals while fishing and hiking. I’ve also had an encounter with a mountain lion, it went away after I threw a rock at it but I felt more comfortable knowing I had my gun. I’m pretty liberal, and mostly vote left, but I’ll carry and own guns my whole life.

So why do you come on a Nebraska football board? To Insult people for exercising there second amendment rights? I’ll take my hick town over your rat infested sewer smelling big city any day

100% on the money sir. The big cities have people moving out of their sh*t-hole as fast as they possibly can.

Right. People are flocking to rural america. It's why "brain drain" is a major priority of the Ricketts administration.

Well, it's simply that true that people are bailing out of the blue state big cities as soon as they can. Who can blame them?

Yet your comments are filled with name calling, hate filled rhetoric, and nastiness prove you’re not of those you hang around with, just a pathetic loser who comes on a message board to show how “masculine” you are, but in actuality it shows what a shallow minded, insecure little man you’ve proven to be as an “adult.” Hilarious.

I'm in a bit of pickle. I wasn't paying attention and only have about a thousand rounds of .223 ammo. Sales in urban areas are booming due to the riots. Millions of people who haven't ever owned a gun are buying them now.

What do you got? I am leaning toward a Glock 19 or Sig 365XL. I've shot both and both have solid reputations. Anything else I should consider? I want minimum printing, but something that is long enough for hands that are on the larger side. TIA.

Also, is the insurance a must have? Considering USCCA.

I just bought my first handgun too. I have several shotguns, but up until now nothing that shoots bullets. I bought a small little S&W revolver. People may laugh who know a heck of a lot more about guns than what I do, but I bought a revolver because of my over/under and side by side shotguns. I like that you instantly know if they are loaded and the same can be said for a revolver. I need to figure it out. I am all goofed up. I am left handed, but right eye dominant. I shoot all my shotguns right handed. I guess I will probably end up shooting this with my right hand and supporting it with my left.

A long time ago and before I was married I had a girlfriend who was from a cool little town on the Salmon River in Idaho called Riggins. (Dallas Cowboy LB Vander Esh is from there). Her dad and two brothers had just about every caliber and type of handgun ever made. We use to shoot from their backyard across the river (Nothing but a steep hill). That is my only experience with handguns.

I have a friend who is a policeman and he open carries quite a bit when he not working. If he is not open carrying he has one concealed. One time I was with him when he was off duty and we were picking up something in a neighborhood neither one of us live in. This one older lady was really tearing into him for having a holster with a gun on his belt. He just ignored her. Never said a word to her

I got enough problems, I don't want the attention/hassle. I'm not worried about people who do open carry, most likely is they have a holster they're probably a good guy.
