Correct if I am wrong I see their are 10 conferences in 1A.football in the West. So there will be 10 seeded in top 10 before the rest. Andrews Murphy could be huge as loser could drop to 11 seed. Am I correct. Conf champs seeded first.

You are worried about Andrews & Murphy arenā€™t you. I can read between the lines and you are scared very scared šŸ˜±. Just kidding, Just kidding. Lol. Got to lighten up things a little. No one has any idea who will make it to the Big Game

Nobody knows ! We all hope and pray our teams are healthy and donā€™t have a off night. We hope our style of football is more difficult to stop than the competition. We hope we execute better and with all this we hope we get a few breaks and have a little luck. Itā€™s for the young men, the school and the communities. You got to love small town High School football

There are some that do not have football, so some of them were moved to a "football only conference".

Here it shows all the 1A conferences. NW Piedmont, Metro 8 & Catawba Shores all have teams in a football only conference A. Also independents do not get an auto bid if they play. That leaves 8 conferences with 6 being split. In those split conferences the 1A team has to finish .500 OR top 3. So unless I am missing something, there could be 8 teams seeded with conference champs.
  1. Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A - ER
  2. Northwest - MA
  3. Western Highlands 1A/2A - Draughn
  4. SMC - Winner of Andrews & Murphy
  5. Central Carolina 1A/2A - Thomasville
  6. Yadkin Valley - Albemarle would be considered conference champ IF they beat North Stanly. If not, no 1A team auto qualifies.
  7. Football Only Conference A 1A/2A - Christ the King
  8. Southern Piedmont 1A/2A - No 1A team auto qualify
Right now there are 6, but there could be 7 teams that are seeded with conference champs if Albemarle wins. There is no way for any of the 1A teams to auto qualify from the southern piedmont conference.

hearing thru the vine that one school has already signed the ā€œopt outā€ formā€¦and with South Stanly folding that would put the remaining two teams in

Albemarle is in a split conference and has already defeated the other 1A teams in the conference. North Stanly is in the 2A division of the conference so why would beating them have any bearing on determining Albemarleā€™s fat e as a conference champion?

Dogs9 schedule some conference cupcake teams next season to ensure u get 0.500 record. Then u will get one seed.
