Remember it like yesterday. However, at my age sometimes I can't remember what I did yesterday.
Yep. Fine young gentleman. IF the saying is true that the good die young, this would be proof. Would rather he still be around. He's probably the starting QB on the real SAINTS team.

It’s hard to believe it has been that long. I watched him in HS and through his recruitment. He was a tremendous young man, one you want to date your daughter. A very sad day.

Remember it when I was young, 16 at the time. As I have had the ability to reflect on the young man and what he stood for I can only hope and try to raise my own 2 daughters I that mold. Brooke was one of the truly humble, caring, special people.

I was in Elko, Nevada when I heard the news. One of those moments that I'll never forget.

Just watched unbeaten again.. never fails to bring a tear to my eye. Unselfish team player.Great role model and great player.. but a better person

As far as remembering day and where you were at, I lived a block away from his HS FB coach, Mike Johnson. I ran over to his house to tell him. He heard something was going on but didn't know details. In the years to follow while we still lived out west I would have the pleasure of speaking with Jan his mother.
