17 Stricklin Game 1 Thread

[Seinfeld]

This ump better give our guy the same calls in the bottom of this inning. He’s calling strikes like he’s ready for this game to be over

[57stratdawg]

Was that Tom Glavin? No one is going to hit that kid throwing stuff like that.

[Xenomorph]

Watching strike three tonight like....

[stateu1]

What the 17 was that

[Podgy]

Our game to win and this happens

[57stratdawg]

Come on Auger

[ababyatemydingo]

doing Foxhall things here. Leaving struggling pitchers in too long when you need to close it out

[57stratdawg]

What the 17 was that

The pitch clock was getting low, so he went with a quick pitch. He could called time though. Mental error.

[57stratdawg]

You gotta take the bunt off with 2 strikes.

[57stratdawg]

Let’s see it Fresh

Oh. Totally excusable**

[karlchilders.sixpack]

The play is at first, hopefully.

[Xenomorph]

2 outs.. come on Stevens.. close it out.

[travis.sixpack]

[Xenomorph]

Jeez... gotta make that play at 3rd. I don't care about "split rate".

[ababyatemydingo]

lol. no killer instinct.

[Xenomorph]

[Seinfeld]

What an absolute bullpen disaster tonight

[Podgy]

So this is our Friday night bullpen for SEC games?

[57stratdawg]

Kohler has to make that play. You can’t hit .200 OR not make that play.

Can’t do both.

[ababyatemydingo]

walked it off. dumbass two innings of baseball. leaving Auger in struggling was flashbacks to the last two years

[Trojanbulldog19]

We haven't had a closer since Simms. Our Pitchers have no balls.

[Podgy]

Well that sucked.

[Seinfeld]

Great job dawgs. Completely **** that one away Lemonis

[Trojanbulldog19]

Augur is not a closer quit trying to make him one! Dumbass Lemonis!!

[Leeshouldveflanked]

[Xenomorph]

Remember this loss come selection time.

[stateu1]

That was f’d up.

[M R DAWGS]

That sucked

[BulldogBlitz]

17 that crap

[revereno]

It’s clear this team is much improved from the past two years while still being light years from where we need to be.

[Maroon Pug]

Walks will lose you ball games. Simple as that. If State does walk ~ 4 batters the last few innings, they take the series opener.

[BulldogBlitz]

Oh boy. Fat *** Bruce on talking ncaa tournament. What a fun thing to switch to after this let down

[Lawdawg.sixpack]

3 no-out walks in 8th and 9th. All 3 scored.

[17itdawg]

I love Mississippi State, but sometimes I just wish she'd love me back....

[patdog]

Exactly. And that’s not good enough. Should have done what was inevitable last May. But we Mississippi State’d it.

[anon1787432961]

Not sure I've seen us shat the bed like that after having a game won. Bouncing balls to the plate, throwing ball after ball. Hard to see guys just falling apart under pressure like that.

[leeinator]

Did O'Sully run around the field "Gator Chompin"?

[Xenomorph]

It’s clear this team is much improved from the past two years while still being light years from where we need to be.

It's a similar situation to coming out of the Croom era. We were so unbelievably bad that we could be an improved team and the record still be shittastic.

[aTotal360]

There’s a turd in our bed.
