Especially after the 9 win season last year, just happy to be winning.
Well, those guys need minutes to get better. If you cant put em in up 30, when can you?
After that performance I’d say almost never, losing 16-0 to a team you were beating by 28, that should be in the list of reasons Cal says, “I can’t play you!”
I mean we’d have to be up 50 to put these guys in together against Tennessee, we’d then escape with a 4-8 point victory.
Well. You do that. Meanwhile the SEC and NCAA will mark it down as a Win.
It won't happen again and Coach Cal was upset about the last 5 minutes of the game. I clearly don't understand fans on here. One game UK is up 28 points fans are screaming at Cal to bring in the subs now tonight same fans screaming don't bring the subs in the game. I was happy with how Kentucky played yes the first 35 minutes of the game. When Wheeler is back 100% UK will have Wheeler, TyTy, Grady, Brooks, and Oscar and Toppin, Mintz, and Maybe Hopkins off the bench. Cal will get this down to 7 or 8 players and he won't be pulling the starters at the 5-6 minute mark. This won't happen again.
It's really hard to complain about anything in this game. I thought we played a great game and don't blame Cal getting some of the younger players time and experience. Good win tonight.
Didn’t like the end of game but was more concerned with the lineup of Hopkins, Collins, toppin, mintz and Grady that blew our early 22-11 lead. Cals obsession with playing 3 bigs will be the ultimate death of this team. He can’t help himself.
If we win the title in a decided manner, yet the opponent scores the last 8 points in the loss.. we're gonna gripe about that, aren't we?
I don’t either. But man, you had about as much control over that as I did. Take the win. Enjoy it. Because from one driven person to another. Breathing is ok. And it’s ok to realize you can’t control it all.

One poster in this thread says he keeps his own stats and does not grade on a curve so he marked this game down as a loss. All I can say to that clown is "get a freakin' life." I used to keep game stats as well, but that was before cable TV and while Cawood called the game. I was also in middle school..
Their hatred of Cal has nothing to do with "blowing things," how this game ended, or really anything about basketball, and I'm pretty sure you know that.
Last week, it was complaining that Collins didn't play in an easy win. This week we saw why Collins doesn't play -- and, of course, they complain about Collins playing and thwarting momentum.

There's a fine line between legitimate griping (like losing to ND), and finding things to be upset about. The team purposely.. purposely!.. checked out of this game. As far as I'm concerned, we won by 30.
Some on here are losers and only look to start an argument even after we won a game. It must suck to have some of the lives of some of these losers who post on these boards these days...
We live in an era where people derive their happiness through online anger. It's truly sad.
If we win the title I don’t care how we win it or by how much. But when we have a bunch of games left in hopes of a getting a good seed in the tournament. It sucks to see the same bad things over and over from Cal.
Can’t have this against better teams.
It's abundantly clear at this point that the hatred of Cal is driven by cultish politics, not basketball.
But I don't think we'd ever toy with lineups or take the foot off the pedal, if the game is close.
We got to a 30pt lead in 30min, that should be the takeaway.. what happened in the 10min after just isn't going to be the norm.
