What? Trying to develop the 2nd unit with a 28 pt lead is bad? That 2nd unit absolutely has to learn to be productive and not let go of the rope. He put the starters back in and they couldn't hit anything like Juwanna Mann's ghost was on the rim knocking things away.

Lmao y’all are really this clueless? Didn’t play stall ball until the last minute, was developing the bench and the team got lazy.
This fan base can’t be happy. Plays some role players and gives up a lead, damn stall ball! Doesn’t sub the role players in, damn cal could have played Hopkins more minutes! I’ve seen both threads this season…

Which is exactly what they all say when he doesn’t, maybe now they see why?

I absolutely hated it, was having PTSD flash backs to past teams that also stopped playing basketball and instead tried to play 30 second games of keepaway and also collapsed their leads under Cal.

YOURE UP 28 BY PLAYING BASKETBALL, DONT STOP ******* PLAYING BASKETBALL WITH 5 MINUTES LEFT IN THE GAME YOU EGG HEAD CAR SALESMAN CALIPARI

Cal said he was aggravated by it. It all started when Oscar went out. He’ll get them straightened out.
They were passing wide open shots to hold the ball, I doubt the players were doing anything other than what they believed their coach wanted them to do.

It happened right after Cal subbed Collins in for Big O. That changed all the momentum. Think Cal just figured the game was over and wanted to ride it out with Collins reset of the way and get him more minutes. Not too worried about it. But, it shows how quickly momentum can change.

Last game bunch of people were bitching Cal left the starters in and his failure to get his bench game minutes is gonna bite us

This was almost the perfect game. There was something for everyone.

It gave most fans the opportunity to appreciate a pretty easy conference road win.

The ending gave others the chance to call out the coach and keep their hopes alive that they can still be correct about him blowing things again this season.

Jeez. I hate to go full Australian, but what a bunch of Sheila’s. We just got out of that crap hole arena. Nobody hurt. We won well. And what happens? Tears. Full blown whiny tears over nothing. Get a grip. We’ve sent better teams in there and got our *** kicked.

Can’t discuss basketball in here for all the damn tears.

Texas Tech is up 4 with a minute left, hopefully Cal can get their coach on the phone and tell him the best way to win a game late is to hold the ball all 30 seconds and make no effort to score, Baylor won’t know what hit them.

Cal REALLY wants to get as many minutes for Hopkins and Collins to keep them engaged. Tonight with a 28 pt and 5 minutes to go, it was the perfect time to play them. The 16-0 run wasn't entirely on them, Oscar and TyTy missed FT's, Grady, Mintz and Ty Ty turned the ball over, everyone on the floor played Ole' defense and jacked up shots out of the flow of the offense.

Hopefully Cal can use the end of this game to teach everyone how important it is to finish strong. I LOVE being able to use a ROAD WIN as a teaching moment!!

We won at Vandy and was up by 28 points. I never thought without Wheeler UK would be up by 28 points with about 5-6 minutes to go in the game. If it wasn't for Pippens tonight UK would have won by 50. Cal was trying to play subs tonight and not have any injuries tonight. Cal was upset about the last 5 minutes and I bet it won't happen again. My problem is there are some fans on here that are never satisified and always wants to blame Coach Cal for something during each game. We won without Wheeler and with Pippen scoring 32 points and on the Road at Vandy.
