I was at that game with my oldest son. It was a close game between RU and Army. When that happened, the air went out of the stadium, you knew it was a very serious situation. Although RU came back to win, I left the stadium in a very depressed mood, it was a long drive home. It was very apparent that Eric was seriously injured.

I was the one who talked him into considering a bigger school (Rutgers) when he was all but committed to Rowan U., so I wondered after all that happened in his first few months if he resented my influence.
