Now I know we sucked in the first half and that’s 100% on Pikell but this is getting ridiculous that they are calling no fouls on the home teams when we play is beyond absurd

I didn’t think the refs were missing foul calls.

But the non call on Harrar’s moving pick/block on that game winning three by Dread was absolutely CRIMINAL.

Hard to use refs as an excuse when we've played PATHETIC first halves as of late, but one simply cannot realistically ignore the refs in the second half vs Michigan or this game. They really are handicapping other teams against us when they want to.

BTW, Myles seems to pick up 2 quick fouls every game for this same type of thing. I think that's the reason Pike isn't starting him lately. But of course this guy gets away w it for a game winner.

There was a sequence where Doucoure had his arms straight up and gets a foul for an and one then Harper drives and gets bodied worse and the guards arms were less vertical and we dont get the call. When we aren't shooting 3's and outside jumpers and taking it to the rim so often it doesnt make sense that we have game after game with no calls driving and under the basket

Johnson also got called for a foul when Harrar fell down on his back in the paint. Honestly have no idea how that was called on him.

Let's be real too, they weren't calling the games like this the first half of the season, and the whole feel of the game was more physical and defensive. I was actually surprised at how much the kids were allowed to play and really started to love BIG ten hoops for that reason.... Every game right now, it seems we are playing ticky tacky/NBA ball when we are on defense but getting mauled or at least playing a very physical game when we are on offense.

Idk if anyone noticed, but BTN did a whole segment complaining that the games weren't high scoring enough and that refs were supposed to be calling more fouls to make the game less defense oriented. It was a few weeks ago on big ten live or whatever show airs during basketball season.

Really makes you wonder if the powers that be wanted to curb Rutgers ascension as a model for a physical defensive team if that's not the brand of ball they want to see.

The former player on the panel kept saying he liked Rutgers specifically and liked physical ball, but the other two talking heads, were saying the games weren't entertaining enough.
