Should not be shut off for 50 kids who are sitting on their hands. I will never ever agree with this.
********. Maybe 3 or 4 of these kids will ever play football for us. Much rather have 500 students who actually care on their feetI like it. Not sacrificing anything.
What are we tangibly sacrificing?********. Maybe 3 or 4 of these kids will ever play football for us. Much rather have 500 students who actually care on their feet
Noise during our most important game in a while. Rewarding the students (future alumni/ticket buyers/donors).What are we tangibly sacrificing?
They can just as easily watch the game in the 300s. If they want to sit on their hands that’s where they can sit. Sorry, I will never agree with this. Not ever. What are we tangibly sacrificing?
We already have best home court as is. Not sure added noise of 50 people (Increase of .005%) is going to make a difference.Noise during our most important game in a while. Rewarding the students (future alumni/ticket buyers/donors).
You have to be trolling if you think that 1/3 of the student section is 50 people…We already have best home court as is. Not sure added noise of 50 people (Increase of .005%) is going to make a difference.
Historically, Football drives donations and ticket revenue.
Seems like a v smart small low risk high reward strategic move for the athletic department.
Yeah, noise isn't an issue today. But keep going...lol.Noise during our most important game in a while. Rewarding the students (future alumni/ticket buyers/donors).
Great way to show a priority recruit that you value them by sticking them up in the rafters. They can just as easily watch the game in the 300s. If they want to sit on their hands that’s where they can sit. Sorry, I will never agree with this. Not ever.
Just saw them making noise on Harper dunk. They can just as easily watch the game in the 300s. If they want to sit on their hands that’s where they can sit. Sorry, I will never agree with this. Not ever.
OP said 50 peopleYou have to be trolling if you think that 1/3 of the student section is 50 people…
Right, they blocked off the left 1/3 (facing it) for probably 50 kids plus staff, families, etc. If that’s not blocked off you can fit significantly more students than other people.OP said 50 people
Dude, you know I appreciate your appreciation for the football program, but stop. Please. We already have best home court as is. Not sure added noise of 50 people (Increase of .005%) is going to make a difference.

How many more shot clock violations do you think we would average if that changed?Right, they blocked off the left 1/3 (facing it) for probably 50 kids plus staff, families, etc. If that’s not blocked off you can fit significantly more students than other people.
Stop what, you started the conversation looking for others perspectives!Dude, you know I appreciate your appreciation for the football program, but stop. Please.
There would be more than 50 students in those spots.Stop what, you started the conversation looking for others perspectives!
btw the percent increases in my above posts were off, should be less than 1% on 50 not .005%.
7 4 stars last year, not sure if they all attended bball games but now Gavin Wimsatt goes to bball games and improves student section experience. Decent return that is.Again, land a couple of five stars who become difference makers and it’s a great trade off
How about the students who supported this team all year and can't get seats for a crucial Senior Day?What are we tangibly sacrificing?
Stop defending it. It’s ********. That entire section should be filled with CURRENT STUDENTS not one or two kids, maybe three, who MAYA end up playing on the football field for one day.Stop what, you started the conversation looking for others perspectives!
btw the percent increases in my above posts were off, should be less than 1% on 50 not .005%.
How bout letting students in to watch their own team. What are we tangibly sacrificing?
I just see the reasoning behind it that’s all. No need to get angry about it. GeezStop defending it. It’s ********. That entire section should be filled with CURRENT STUDENTS not one or two kids, maybe three, who MAYA end up playing on the football field for one day.
Again, I love that they’re there, that’s not a problem. The problem is that they’re taking Seats, and sitting on their hands, when actual students should be standing there. They can put them in the 300s.I just see the reasoning behind it that’s all. No need to get angry about it. Geez

Especially those recruits being courted by Penn State. Have to think there's a method to the madness, to have the recruits see and feel the RU enthusiasm in a Scarlet victory over the Nits.Again, land a couple of five stars who become difference makers and it’s a great trade off
Looked to me like they were all on their butts the entire half Again, you know I’m a huge football fan, I just think that entire section should be students.Looks like the section is completely shut off. Tons on people standing in 110. Is that right?
Bring priority recruits to a game and stick them in the worst seats, you really need to reflect on the absurdity of the this statement. Even if you are a big football fan it doesn't make you a smart one.Again, I love that they’re there, that’s not a problem. The problem is that they’re taking Seats, and sitting on their hands, when actual students should be standing there. They can put them in the 300s.
Sorry, I've been off the board on hoops only lately. What is this aboutShould not be shut off for 50 kids who are sitting on their hands. I will never ever agree with this.
