One of the stranger last 30 seconds you'll see.

Butler built a big lead in the 1st Half but Xavier came back.

With less than 30 secs left Butler has the ball up 2. An Xavier player knocks the ball away, dives on it. and calls a TO. Only Xavier didn't have a TO left.

Butler makes both Tech Foul shots

Xavier player who called the TO makes a 3 and fouls after the inbounds. Butler makes one so they're up 2.

Xavier comes down and Butler player fouls apparently thinking they were up 3. Xavier makes both to tie with 9 sec's left.

Butler player drives the length of the court and thanks to a bone crushing screen, goes for the dunk. It's Blocked but there's a whistle. Ref's review and call goaltending with :02.9 left.

Xaviers desperation 3 misses as they go down.

Bad loss for Xavier...talk of them on the 3 line put on hold
Xavier will lose to Marquette and Providence away and maybe SHU. Miss Fremantle big time. Just wonder how far they fall. Creighton will best UConn tmw at home.

12-13 Air Force led by as much as 20, beating 19-5 New Mexico by 12. Weren't they the last undefeated team at 1 point?

Wow thats a bad loss for them. Yeah they were...and they do have some decent wins but this one hurts

Think the goaltending should have been reversed. I can see why he first called it but after seeing the replays it was the wrong call IMHO.

It's a goaltend. The block looks clean, except the other Xavier player grabbed the rim.
Great observation Frosty. The other Xavier player whom your eyes would never focus on in real time grabbed the rim with the ball in or about the cylinder. Don’t know if that factored into the goaltending call, but it turns out to be the correct one.

Correct call. Not only the rim but I thought somebody grabbed the net too. As others have said wild last ten seconds with Xavier player not knowing no time outs left and then Butler player thinking up by three and fouling when only up by two. And their best foul shooter.

What the heck at the end Fox says “first win over an AP top 10 since 2021” … Xavier is #13 lol
