Arizona up 16 with 14 minutes to go. They are too long and athletic for Michigan at the moment. They have as many points in the paint as Michigan has pints.

Koloko was a 3-star coming out of high school. Now as a junior he’s grown into a bear.

With the black eye Sean Miller became, Lloyd looks like the hire of the decade for Arizona.

I have heard on hear how great of a coach Howard is. Well I watched that awsome 49 point performance that his Michigan put up against little ugly Mick in the ncaa tournament last year. Howard looked totally lost. I watched his team tonight against Tommy Lloyd coaching in his first year, and guess what, Howard looked totally lost again. I will hear all year again how great the big-10 is again. They are just like the acc, totally overrated.

Arizona reminds me of any given Gonzaga team. Tons of international talent, and if they played Zags schedule, they’d be a 1 seed. Michigan looked crappy, but Arizona looked really good.

In 2019, Miller was still landing big-time US talent like Mannion, Green, and Nnaji and landing high-level transfers like Jordan Brown, Max Hazzard, Jermarl Baker, and James Akinjo. But the NCAA scrutiny killed his recruiting last year so he started exclusively going after Int'l recruits, getting 6 (!!) guys from overseas last year (Mathurin, Tubelis x2, Batcho, Kriisa, Gorener) to go with his transfers from '19 and the Cameroon native, Koloko.

Now most of the US talent is gone with just Dalen Terry from Phoenix and freshman Shane Norwell from Seattle. and they are led by Kriisa, Mathurin, Tubelis, and Koloko. Oumar Ballo (who was at Gonzaga) said a big part of his decision to go to Arizona was the French-speaking players (and the coach came from Gonzaga)

Michigan also lost to Seton Hall. Seemed like a top 5 team starting the season but something isn’t right.

Now you are going to see how the Gonzaga system works with 5 star players instead of mostly 3 stars. Lloyd also has more international contacts than other college coach. I assure you that it is easier to recruit 5 star players at Arizona than it is at a small private Jesuit school out in the sticks of Eastern Washington.

Arizona toying with mighty Michigan, 53-40.
That awesome big-10. They will end up with 8 or 9 teams in the ncaa tournament again, and all but maybe Purdue will be gone after the first weekend. All you will hear this year from espn is how great duke's coach is, even though he has won 2 acc conference regular season titiles in the last 20 years, { that's right 2] , and how awesome the big-10 is.

Michigan brought in some talent, but did lose 5 of their top 7 from last year. It's not as easy to win with 5-star freshmen as some fan bases think it is. For every Dickinson you hit on, there's an EJ Montgomery that is a misfire.

Also: Duke has been to only THREE Final Fours in 17 years. Most people won't believe that fact.
