I was referring to the football hashtag that pre-dated the use of that hashtag for wrestling. So it's probably like RedSpartan wrote, "ten different position groups in football."

Just for the halibut - what are the 10 positions? There are way more than 10 positions, especially if you include hybrid and formation-specific positions.

Here's my guess:
  1. Quarterbacks
  2. Running Backs
  3. Receivers
  4. Tight Ends
  5. Offensive Line
  6. Defensive Line
  7. Linebackers
  8. Cornerbacks
  9. Safeties
  10. Special Teams

it means that everybody is together except the QB on offense, you can sub the QB with the punter or kicker. Those guys are all effed too.

It refers to each position group.....at Ohio State it's 9 units strong......I think Ash has one coach for DB and one for Safeties which make it 10.......link below to the Urban Mayerism "9 units strong"

Awesome - thanks, Sideline20!

Not that it matters, just a curiosity, but Meyer had cornerbacks and safeties listed separately too. So I'd guess Ash's 10th unit is special teams.
