Las Vegas loves to build more and more casinos financed by Husker Fan money.

Im sure there is sarcasm in there. The money huskers spend betting on husker football would probably pay for a bathroom in one of the casinos. Vegas could care less about the money husker fans bet, it is minuscule and a drop in the bucket to them and in no way affects the lines they put out. If Vegas has us at 10-2 it would more so be wanting non husker fans to bet the under.

you're right about the overall impact, but it has everything to do with the lines they put out for specific teams' o/u

A deceased friend of mine who was a Husker starter many years ago bet pretty heavily on football after his playing days. He swore he was way ahead betting the spread on Nebraska in NU’s favor until the 2000’s. And of course that was when we routinely beat teams by 30 or more. Not being a gambler, it seemed hard to believe. But I do recall a lot of fans cheering extra loudly when we scored at the end of blowouts.

ESPN FPI. Has Minnesota winning the West, for whatever that’s worth.

I see us going 10-2 being more likely than Minnesota winning the West. Not only did we beat them badly last year, but we were 0-6 when we did it. Leave it to ESPN to completely contradict themselves.
