What a relief. We're sticking to the crystal clear waiver rule. Will they continue basing waivers on ambiguous unknown criteria, or simply go by which programs swing the biggest dong get the waivers?

Probably both. I’ve got a feeling that swinging a big dong is one of the ambiguous unknown criteria.

now he just has to give a reason why he should be exempted. Like the virus.

that’s not going to do it. And nothing even says that’s what he’s trying to do. He really may have just taken a leave and that’s all he intends to do. It’s not like dude needed to have spring practices or else. He’s one guy that could miss spring and let the younger guys get the reps and not miss a thing.

he would still need a release from his scholarship by the university
I'm sure he can find a post on social media somewhere to justify a waiver. Meh. I think he'll be back although papa's crib looked pretty sweet on the draft telecast. Ironically the lack of spring football and classes being online might play out pretty well for him coming back.

Glad the NCAA Board came to their senses on this..
I think they should allow 1 time transfers. If a kid doesn’t fit or isn’t happy why drag out the inevitable. Let a kid go where he can be successful. Plus other sports Allow immediate eligibility.
