I am speaking more to the fact that a team as dangerous as UK (or 2017 UCLA, they were touted as title contenders) being put into another well deserving teams bracket because the selection committee does a bad job every year. Look at Knight's team as a 4 seed, or when UK was an 8 seed and had a second round match up with Wichita State. I can totally see this happening again because the committee won't look at our wins over KU and UNC, but see how UK got blasted it's first game out.

The thing about 2011 and 2014 is we were seeded wrong because the SEC was a poor conference those seasons and we just lacked enough big wins to be seeded any higher.

That's not the case anymore. We've already got wins vs KU, UNC, Auburn, UL and Miss St. All ranked teams. We got more games coming up that would affect things like 2 with UT, another one with Auburn and Miss St.......as well as LSU and Ole Miss.

If we take care of business, they committee won't screw us this season. We'd just have too many big wins to ignore.

That just didn't happen in 11 and 14.
