    In Texas, those are not valid forms of ID to vote as it does not match her current address. Because your Valid ID has to match your registration address. She doesn't get bills at the care home, Her checks are sent to her daughters house to put in the bank. She could go and get a Valid ID, but not during COVID and she doesn't need one.

    But all of that is not the issue. Thie real issue with voter ID is what happened to me. I have a valid texas DL and a valid voter registration card. But the voter card requires your full name. The DL doesn't. So the ID's don't match. So my Texas DL was no longer a valid voter ID. Good enough to drive, fly, buy alcohol, buy a gun, open a bank account, rent a car, etc. But not to vote. And you cannot change it online. Nope. Have to make an in person appointment. I made mine for 90 days out, then had to take an afternoon to wait to get it changed.
