Have watched some of the Blue Bloods the talent level appears to be a whole level above ours at this time hopefully that will change in the future.

It’s not who he lost to, it's how he lost. He is a poor man's John Calipari and that is definitely not a compliment.
If you still think Lucas is a good coach after watching that, then you have bigger problems than just a crapload of bad takes.
Yet you still think Pope is a good coach after watching how his teams get blown out

I actually respect that Florida returned 4 starters and 5 of their top 6 guys from last year. In a time when rosters are revolving doors it reminds me of what college basketball used to be. They’re not going to lose many games
That’s administration support. Florida and UCONN don’t have revolving doors. It’s what Calipari talked about here. Barnhart didn’t feel it was his administration job to retain players. It was all on the coaches. A lot of negotiations and hidden payments by collectives, boosters and the AD to retain a core for 4 years like Florida has. The coach needs to coach. It’s the administration that has retained those players.

I think Pope is good at certain aspects of coaching and for the millionth time, I don't think Pope is the guy for this job, but I hope he proves me wrong.

Why is this so hard for you guys to understand?

Because they put you in the Pumper category and no longer listen to anything you say. Just throw their "Pope sucks" bombs over and over. They want to beat you into submission. There literally is no discourse with a lot of these folks.

The funny thing is, there really aren't any Pope fans, just people that hope he can figure this out.
These guys think you have to use a bull horn to announce "POPE SUCKS" on here every day and if yiu don't, it keans you're a Pope fan. Further proof our education system needs work.

Most of us are fully on board with removing CMP if this season doesn't meet expectations. He cannot finish middle of the pack in the SEC and he can’t just be an also-ran in the SECT, or NCAAT. No excuses
