I figured it would be on here the moment it happens… Can Pope FINALLY pop that 5 star cherry that’s currently sitting on 0-42 since he took the position? Fingers crossed
This guy was never seriously considering Ky.I figured it would be on here the moment it happens… Can Pope FINALLY pop that 5 star cherry that’s currently sitting on 0-42 since he took the position? Fingers crossed
I'm watching it right now, he picked UNC.
Congratulations
RunninRich gets the early award for wasting time watching a commitment from a kid whose destination was never in doubt
Certificate is in the mail
Any "insiders" who insinuated today would be a big day for us should have their credentials revoked and have to sleep with a warm pillow for a year.
Maybe you can show us the proper way to “cope” with Pope
UK doesn't have insiders and they haven't for a long time.
It's my fault Pope whiffed?
Is there anything Pope does well?
Pope is like 0 fer 30 on 5 star recruits. It’s amazing how bad he is at this.
Pope's recruiting woes will never again be replicated. This is unpresented, what he is doing is really amazing if you think about it. One for the history books, for sure.
People sure do believe them when they say pope feels good about someone though.
Scary for UNC fans that he and his manager declined the UNC offer until Jorden offered a Jordan brand contract as a addition
So, do you seriously think Pope is doing a good job at UK? Serious question, or are you just trying to split hairs and get quick "gotcha" wins?
Henry is a Mormon and we couldn't bag him.
Pope's not the best recruiter but at least he loses a lot of games.
We'll land the 7 foot 5 guy (if BYU doesn't want him) maybe.
From the article I read earlier, Pope wants maybe 3 from this years class and is saving money for the Portal and retaining guys. They don’t feel that any of these guys in this class are worth 5 million, however they still are recruiting them just not going to blow the whole budget. Now it might be all horse crap but it was an interesting article.
With millions and millions of dollars at his disposal. Unbelievable.
He’s the best recruiter for all the other schools in the country. If a top player is down to UK and another school then Pope will absolutely land the kid for the other school.
He lives in your head along with about a dozen others on here
At some point Pope has to land one. Hes going to have to overpay for a top player. Quit overpaying for third options.
Should have gave stokes ten million and been done with it. Not even because hes worth it but for all the benefits of landing a player like that.
I figured once Pope landed his first stud it would open the floodgates but hes yet to do that.
10 mil prob wouldnt have been enough, we had to give 3 million just to land ABERDEEN
