Games like yesterday are why Kirk Ferentz won't be and shouldn't be in the CFB hall of fame...

He'll get in because of longevity. That's it. The University of Iowa should be the co-inductee when the time comes because no other program would've kept him this long.

Zero outright B1G titles in 28 years. One BCS-level bowl win in 28 years.

In 28 years.

Lol.

Stop posting! Everyone on here would really appreciate it. You have ZERO self awareness about how stupid you look and act on here daily... enough is enough! STOP!
He has already stated he thinks this board should be shut down because we’re “bad fans”. Since he hates everyone here so much, I don’t understand why he stays. Probably just to annoy people.

Just above mediocrity...
2025: 9-4 overall, 6-3 conference. Won ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Vanderbilt 34-27.
2024: 8-5 overall, 6-3 conference. Lost Music City Bowl vs. Missouri 24-27.
2023: 10-4 overall, 7-2 conference. Lost Citrus Bowl vs. Tennessee 0-35 (Big Ten West Champions).
2022: 8-5 overall, 5-4 conference. Won Music City Bowl vs. Kentucky 21-0.
2021: 10-4 overall, 7-2 conference. Lost Citrus Bowl vs. Kentucky 17-20 (Big Ten West Champions).
2020: 6-2 overall, 6-2 conference. Music City Bowl vs. Missouri was canceled.
2019: 10-3 overall, 6-3 conference. Won Holiday Bowl vs. USC 49-24.
2018: 9-4 overall, 5-4 conference. Won Outback Bowl vs. Mississippi State 27-22.
2017: 8-5 overall, 4-5 conference. Won Pinstripe Bowl vs. Boston College 27-20.
2016: 8-5 overall, 6-3 conference. Lost Outback Bowl vs. Florida 3-30.

He does well with what he has available. I'd much rather have a coach that wins 8+ games a year versus getting a new coach every 2 or 3 years.

Why did the media love Bo Schembechler so much? Different era but how many national championships and Rose Bowls did he win?

That logic then disqualifies Urban Meyer, because he got his *** blown out in Kinnick.

You're obviously not in recruiting. Ferentz is, and has been, one of the best returns on investment in college football, and probably every AD in the country would laugh in your face.

What's he won of any significance?

He won an Orange Bowl 17 years ago. He won a share of the B1G championship 22 and 24 years ago.

That's it.

Other than that he's won a sh*t ton of games against crappy Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Nebraska teams with a handful of major upsets against highly ranked tOSU, Michigan, and Penn St. sprinkled in.

Hasn't won an outright B1G championship in 28 years. Has won 1 BCS-level bowl in 28 years.

And you guys act like he walks on water. Lol.

He has had a "train wreck" a couple times. He always rebounds and wins. The 12-0 season was on the heels of some dire times. That's what keeps him here. We are due for a double digit winning record.

The problem isn't "player's" in plural. It's the Quarterback development. Look at that list and see the TD/INT ratio of each QB. Kirk has not had many solid quarterbacks playing for him. It's a development issue. We need efficiency from the QB position.
