He does well with what he has available. I'd much rather have a coach that wins 8+ games a year versus getting a new coach every 2 or 3 years.

He won an Orange Bowl 17 years ago. He won a share of the B1G championship 22 and 24 years ago.
That's it.
Other than that he's won a sh*t ton of games against crappy Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Nebraska teams with a handful of major upsets against highly ranked tOSU, Michigan, and Penn St. sprinkled in.

Gets in for the longevity. Found a style and a schedule to hang around a long time. Stayed in his lane. Well done by KF actually. He was ok with ok for three decades.
He has had a "train wreck" a couple times. He always rebounds and wins. The 12-0 season was on the heels of some dire times. That's what keeps him here. We are due for a double digit winning record.

The problem isn't "player's" in plural. It's the Quarterback development. Look at that list and see the TD/INT ratio of each QB. Kirk has not had many solid quarterbacks playing for him. It's a development issue. We need efficiency from the QB position.
