Sitake would have been a better option than Campbell

Exactly what has Chesney done? Won a few games at UCLA. If they make the dance they will be schooled.
There are lots of reasons why Kraft would be jealous of Chesney or another person, and most have nothing to do with results on the field. I think Kraft is a petty jealous man with lots of motivations.

I’m actually not a troll. I’m being sincere. I’ve never missed a snap of Penn State football in my life. I cheered from a crib during the 82 National Championship, and have seen every play since. I’ve been to countless Saturday weddings, trips overseas, work commitments, you name it. I’ve never missed a Penn State game and never will.

His team beat Notre Dame and is undefeated. He literally does do more with less as he was quoted a few months ago lamenting how little resources he has at BYU versus what he saw was available at PSU during the coaching search. The Notre Dame team he beat today has at least double his NIL war chest. Per insiders a number of his best players were coming with him to Happy Valley before cookie crumble got involved and ruined Krafty the Klown’s pinky swear non-written agreement. Goodness what could’ve been.
Well, he said no to us and may have distracted us from getting Chesney.

Spent yesterday traveling and didn’t see any games. After seeing the final score of the PSU game and the team and player stats, as well as the surprising scores of several other games, I think Campbell is gonna be fine. Caveat: he needs to recruit a little better, and he has to understand it and follow through on it.
Maybe you should watch the game and then get back to us.

Yep That was a take from someone who either didn't watch, or who watched it - but it was the first game of American Football he had ever seen.

Two bad teams, playing poorly, coached poorly - but one of them had to win.
Neither of those teams - as they played on saturday - were within the same galaxy as "good".

Go discuss Penn State football with people that don’t watch the games.
Tell us more about how you were able to watch every snap of PSU football while pooping in your diaper. And then tell us about how you were able to watch every snap when you were a baby/toddler, as well. See what I did there?

One of our own got a shout out on the coaching situation.

I don’t agree with firing Campbell now, but when faced with the option of giving your plan F hire an 8yr $70M fully guaranteed contract or your plan G hire (Terry) a 4yr deal at $4m/yr, and you keep half your recruiting class and limit portal departures, we’d be better off with Terry

Cannot believe you people have not been able to see the straightforward simple solution to this problem: Jay Paterno

1 - Jay will work for peanuts to have the job. Offer him 100K for 3 years.

2 - A Paterno at the helm will unlock the countless BILLIONS in NIL contributions from the otherwise cheap-*** fans that are currently being withheld.

3 - Use Jay's tenure to conduct a real search for a coach. Urbs and Nick ain't coming out of retirement. Maybe Larry Coker or Bob Stoops, they are proven winners at the highest level.

Problem solved

That would have been a more prudent course of action, especially economically.

So tell me, what players would this new/better coach be playing with this year? Where would he have gotten all the talent he needed?

Seems obvious to all but the FDR Krafty The Clown defenders. Oh yea, don't forget, that he could have also chosen to hire Chesney, who badly wanted to be here, but Krafty The Clown invariably chose the guy whose Free Agents stink, are overpaid and now he is riding them to the bottom.

Gee, do tell where Bob Chesney got the talent he needed at UCLA???? 20 of UCLA's 22 starters were brought in by Chesney via the Free Agent Portal. Chesney (from Central PA and played his college ball in Carlisle) badly wanted to be at PSU and only signed with UCLA after Krafty The Clown dissed him multiple times - the Sitake bs being the straw that broke the camel's back. So tell me, where did Chesney get all this tallent?????

Glad you’re not making decisions. Just blabbing on a message board because your supposed team is losing.

Still no answers as to why Campbell has the worst Free Agents of all the new 1st year P4 Coaches resulting in the worst record against P4 competition of all new 1st Year P4 Coaches. Krafty The Clown PAYING UP for less sure is a mysterious route to "Excellence" and "Championship Football".
